I work on spaces of all sizes from balcony gardens to office spaces, to large residential and commercial projects.

My normal process is:

• Client meeting

• Present brief with ideas, planting and hard landscaping suggestions

• Client feedback and sign off on budget

• Draw up scaled garden design with full planting plan, costings and next steps

• Feedback and final changes

If that sounds a bit overwhelming, don’t worry! I also do short consultations to offer advice and can even accompany you to the garden centre to help choose the right plants for your space if you’re on a smaller budget.

I love talking about growing, gardens and the power of nature and am available for talks and consultations on new projects. My particular areas of interest are agro-ecology and education. I have done talks and been part of panels for Capital Growth, the Oxford Real Farming Conference, the Peri Urban Farm Network, Groundswell, Charles Dowding’s Future Gardener’s Forum and more.

Having been through the trevails of setting up and running growing sites in different challenging situations over the years, I am available for consutancy, coaching and advice for entrant growers and individuals and organisations wanting to introduce agroecological principles or food growing to their spaces. I have previously worked for DEFRA and the Landworkers Alliance as a new entrant coach.
